Starting from 8:00 AM on June 1, 2026, the Cau Gie – Ninh Binh Expressway has officially commenced toll collection operations at two new interchanges: Liem Son and Phu Thu. This milestone contributes to perfecting the regional transportation infrastructure and enhancing regional connectivity.
According to the Vietnam Expressway Investment Development Corporation (VEC), a closed toll collection system will be applied, calculating fees based on the actual distance traveled. All toll lanes on the route are deployed with Electronic Toll Collection (ETC), ensuring seamless traffic flow and time savings for vehicles.
In particular, the opening of the Liem Son interchange further enhances the locational advantages of Trung Thanh Industrial Park (IP). The industrial park is located just about 2 km from the interchange, enabling enterprises to quickly access the backbone expressway of the Northern region. Consequently, traveling to Hanoi takes only around 75 km, while also offering convenient connections to key industrial hubs, logistics networks, and major supply chains in the region.
