“Capella Land is committed to mobilizing the necessary resources and implementing the Capella Quang Tri Industrial Park project in a diligent and responsible manner, in full compliance with the law and with a strong focus on construction quality and the established investment schedule. Attending and speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Duc Tien, Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee, noted that Quang Tri holds a strategic position along the East–West Economic Corridor, with strong connectivity to domestic localities, international border gates, regional markets and the maritime economy. These advantages create opportunities for the province to become a key link in the movement of goods, trade, industrial activity and logistics from the west to the East Sea.

However, the province recognizes that geographical advantages can only become genuine competitive strengths when translated into integrated infrastructure, production capacity, efficient logistics services and an attractive investment environment.

In line with the strategic direction of “Reaching Eastward, Spreading Westward” set out by General Secretary and State President To Lam, Quang Tri aims to fully leverage both its maritime orientation and its connectivity to regional economic corridors. The province will take infrastructure development as its foundation, industry as its driving force, logistics as the connecting link, and the quality of its investment environment as the decisive factor in its competitiveness.

Under this approach, the Southeast Quang Tri Economic Zone is expected to gradually strengthen its role as a coastal hub for industrial, commercial and service development, closely connected with seaports, transport networks, border gates and regional economic centers.

“The vision of developing Quang Tri into a ‘Gateway to the East Sea’ along the East–West Economic Corridor is about much more than geographical location. It must be a substantive development strategy: turning connectivity advantages into the ability to attract investment; transforming infrastructure into the capacity to support production and the circulation of goods; and converting investment capital into jobs, incomes and added value for the local economy. Within this broader picture, every industrial park with integrated infrastructure, every effectively connected transport route and every high-quality manufacturing project is an important link in building the province’s overall development strength,” Mr. Le Duc Tien said.

Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee Le Duc Tien speaks at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Vice Chairman Le Duc Tien noted that the investment, construction and infrastructure business project for Capella Quang Tri Industrial Park would make a practical contribution by expanding the supply of industrial land, gradually completing infrastructure for production, enhancing the province’s capacity to accommodate secondary investors and creating greater room for local economic growth.

The province expects Capella Quang Tri Industrial Park not only to be developed with integrated infrastructure, but also to become a destination for capable businesses and projects featuring appropriate technologies, strong economic efficiency and resource-efficient, environmentally friendly operations. More importantly, the project’s success should not be measured solely by the area of land developed or the total registered investment capital. It should also be assessed by its ability to attract actual investment, the number and quality of jobs created, production value, contributions to the state budget, linkages with local businesses and the long-term benefits delivered to local communities.

Overview of the groundbreaking ceremony for Capella Quang Tri Industrial Park

Capella Quang Tri Industrial Park – Aiming to Become a Hub for Industry, Logistics and Services in Quang Tri Province

Capella Quang Tri Industrial Park received in-principle investment approval and investor selection approval from the Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee under Decision No. 2086/QD-UBND dated June 23, 2025, and was granted its investment certificate on January 5, 2026. The project is located alongside the East–West Economic Corridor within the Southeast Quang Tri Economic Zone, an area envisioned as a future hub for the province’s industrial, logistics and service sectors.

Situated along the East–West Economic Corridor, Capella Quang Tri Industrial Park offers convenient access to interregional transport networks and major transport hubs. These include key seaports such as My Thuy International Port, Hon La Port and Vung Ang Port; Dong Hoi, Quang Tri, Phu Bai and Da Nang airports; as well as an international border-gate network connecting Vietnam with Laos and other countries in the Mekong subregion. In addition, the project area has naturally elevated terrain and is not affected by flooding, providing favorable conditions for the stable, long-term development of industrial infrastructure.

The project is planned as a modern, multi-sector industrial park, with an emphasis on green and sustainable development. Its technical infrastructure will be developed in an integrated manner to meet the increasingly high standards of domestic and international investors, particularly those in processing and manufacturing, supporting industries, logistics and other high-value-added sectors.

Capella Land believes that the value of an industrial park lies not only in its land area or the infrastructure built, but also in its contribution to strengthening investment attraction, creating jobs and opportunities for higher incomes, promoting economic restructuring and increasing provincial budget revenues.

In addition to its two projects in Quang Tri—Cam Lien Industrial Park (450 hectares) and Capella Quang Tri Industrial Park (220.47 hectares)—Capella Land has developed and is continuing to develop industrial infrastructure projects across Vietnam. These include Yen Lu Industrial Park (377 hectares), Gia Binh Industrial Park (307 hectares), Nham Son–Yen Lu Industrial Cluster (75 hectares) and Doan Bai–Luong Phong 2 Industrial Cluster (75 hectares) in Bac Ninh; Trung Thanh Industrial Park (200 hectares) and Thanh Liem Industrial Park (143 hectares) in Ninh Binh; and Lac Thinh Industrial Park (220 hectares) in Phu Tho. Capella Land equips these projects with modern, integrated infrastructure to meet the needs of domestic and international investors. Many reputable companies have selected industrial parks and clusters developed by Capella Land for their manufacturing and business operations, including Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Cooler Master, Econy, Sunwoda and QP.

The groundbreaking of Capella Quang Tri Industrial Park marks another step forward in Capella Land’s industrial infrastructure development strategy in Central Vietnam and reaffirms its ambition to become a trusted, responsible partner of Quang Tri Province. Capella Land is committed to dedicating the necessary resources to the project, ensuring diligent implementation in compliance with the law, and prioritizing construction quality and the investment schedule. The company will also work closely with local authorities, relevant agencies and the community to deliver tangible socio-economic benefits while fulfilling its environmental responsibilities.
